Spring Monochrome

The week we shot these photos in DC, it was so cold! It definitely did not feel like spring and we needed a few warmer placed for shooting inside! I loved the interior of the Line Hotel when I looked it up online. This staircase in the man entrance was my favorite part of the hotel, so I really wanted to shoot here!

However, after shooting for about 10-15 minutes, we found out that we actually could not shoot in the hotel without a press/ media pass of some sort. My friend and photographer had mentioned that while walking in, but still suggested we shoot until someone said something to us!

A manager came up to us and told us we had to stop shooting, but by that point we had gotten pretty much all of the shots that we needed! Being a bit newer to blogging, I had no clue that you had to ask to shoot in certain locations.

I wanted a bit more casual of an outfit to wear, so this top with jeans is just perfect. I loved the mesh detailing on this top, and I knew I would be able to wear it after pregnancy as well! I figured it would be perfect with jeans, so the whole look felt a bit more monochromatic.

I wanted to break up that monochrome a bit with the pop of red in this bag! I love the vibrant color of this Gucci Bag, it is just the perfect pop of color for any outfit. I also wore the only pair of heels that still fits me, as I thought a good neutral would go well with this look.
