Stripes and Polka Dots

This house has shown up in a lot of my recent photos and posts, but I am hoping that you would not have noticed unless I mentioned it! This kitchen was one of my favorite spots in the house. I loved the open concept, the exposed brick, and the vintage/ older feel of it.

I also loved that the decor in it was so unique as well, it really it a play off of how unique the kitchen is as well. The pops of red with the chairs made me want to do a simpler outfit in terms of color. I wanted pieces in this kitchen to stand out, and for my outfit to stand out against these pieces.

I ha this striped crop top and wore it with jeans a few times. I had been searching for something fun to wear it with, so I finally decided upon these polka dot pants. I thought the mix of patterns would be perfect, especially since they both had black and white elements to them!

I love trying to mix new patterns and prints, and I really want to experiment a bit with fashion. So I love just pairing random pieces together and seeing/hoping that the idea works out in my favor!

Since we were in the kitchen, I also figured I would have a good cup of coffee. To switch up the photos a bit, I thought posing with the coffee would give the photos a slightly different feel to them. Not every day that you grab coffee in you kitchen in this outfit, lol!
